In spring each leaf is golden yellow with a large, rich red stain radiating from the center. In summer the golden color lightens to straw-yellow or greenish yellow. It likes more moisture than coral bells need. Planting it in partial shade is preferable. Matures into a plant that is a foot tall, with taller flowers of white. Grows in USDA Zones 4-9. |
